Small World & Construction Room
This room is dedicated to our small world and construction resources. Children are given the opportunity to explore a range of small world activities such as dolls' houses, farm animals, jungle animals, transport vehicles, and more. The small world activities allow children to transport themselves into a variety of environments and enact their own experiences and broaden their imagination through play.
This room hosts a variety of construction activities for children to explore concepts of joining, stacking, balancing, and building. Examples include: Lego, mega blocks, stickle bricks, nuts and bolts, train tracks, and more.
We also have a projector and screen in this room to expose children to technology so that they can watch videos related to their creations or interests and provide parallels from the world outside of the setting.
